Moving a Web Folder to the C: drive
Path Requirement
When importing a web from the server using your page editor - in order to further import the KSW project from it -  it is required that you set it on the new machine at the exact location as given in its project.xml file. This is the location where it was originally created (possibly on a different workstation).

C: Recommended
Given the import path requirement, it is recommended you create all KSW-enabled webs on your C: drive/volume. At a remote location, a user may only have available a machine/laptop that has no hard drive volumes other than C:.

Moving a Web Folder to the C: drive
Even so - given the above - suppose one created the web folder on D: and now an import is needed on a C: only laptop.

 • Move the web folder from D: to the new location on the C: drive - same machine.
 • Start KSW, select corresponding project - same machine.
 • Mark the 'Change Project Properties' box.
 • Press 'Next', then enter new web folder path on the C: drive.
 • Press 'Next' until you complete the property pages.
 • Load, save, and publish.
 • On the laptop, refresh (publish 'Remote to local') and import.
